Xtrude is a modular fireplace made from stoneware. The stoneware was extruded into different profiles using high pressure and a custom-built machine. The resulting components can be arranged in different ways to form a fire basket, grill, stove or oven. The lower profile forms the base of the stove and creates a space between the fire and the surface below. As a result, Xtrude can also be used on wooden terraces and tables. The blades on top of the base ensure adequate ventilation for the fire. The upper profile forms the fire basket, which is reinforced by additional segments. These fins make it possible to use pots and pans of different diameters. By extruding the profiles in different lengths, different fireplaces with multiple cooking areas or heat zones can be created. The stability and heat resistance of the stoneware make Xtrude a long-lasting, shared fireplace for everybody.
